Kino Hurtado
Bio
Tranquilino “Kino” Hurtado (he/him/el) is a 3rd year PhD student in the Educational Leadership & Policy program at the University of Utah. He serves as the Assistant Director of the Orientation and Student Success department at Salt Lake Community College where he oversees the summer bridge program(s). His research explores the equity challenges Latina/o/x students experience prior, during, and after the transfer process from a community college to a 4-year institution.
