Courtney H. McBeth, Ed. D.
Bio
Dr. Courtney Hills McBeth is senior vice president and chief program officer at Strada Education Foundation. She leads Strada’s program and philanthropy team and implements strategies to use Strada’s combination of grants, impact investments, research, and policy and advocacy to ensure more equitable outcomes for students beyond completion of education and training after high school. She and her team focus on identifying new ideas and scaling what works across all educational pathways, including credentials, community colleges, and universities and colleges, to improve equitable student outcomes beyond completion and to strengthen the economies in which they live and work.
Dr. McBeth has more than 20 years of experience in various on-campus leadership roles in public higher education. Her leadership experience includes leading university strategy and presidential initiatives, developing new finance models, leading a national economic mobility innovation challenge, as well as developing and scaling global, national, and local work-based learning and academic programs to better connect students to career opportunities. Dr. McBeth, a former Academic All-American soccer player, earned her undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of Utah in political science and education, respectively. She holds a doctorate in higher education management from the University of Pennsylvania and is a proud mom of three boys.
